 Taman Hutan Raya (Tahura) Ngurah Rai, Bali, is recorded to have a mangrove forest covering an area of 1,373.5 ha, which plays role in absorbing carbon from the atmosphere. Carbon stored form biomass. The bigger biomass, stock it. Direct measurement biomass field requires expensive method, relatively long time, and narrow coverage. Nowadays, weakness measuring stocks directly can be overcome by remote sensing approaches, especially estimations satellite imagery combined with geographic information systems (SIG). One images that used estimate Sentinel-1 Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) image. aim this research based on SAR backscatter distribution. method analysis data.
